Paolo Zanzu continues his cycle of Schubert sonatas begun on 20 April, playing on a Viennese piano.
Paolo Zanzu studied at the Paris Conservatoire and with Carole Cerasi at the Royal Academy of Music. He has played with leading European orchestras and ensembles including Les Arts Florissants, Les Musiciens du Louvre and The English Baroque Soloists. As William Christie’s music assistant, he will conduct in 2016 a new production of the Lully and Molière comédie-ballet Monsieur du Pourceaugnac. This is the first of six concerts of complete piano sonatas on Viennese pianos.
