Florian Mitrea, born in Bucharest, won important Romanian youth piano competitions before moving to the UK. He studied at the RAM for six years under Diana Ketler, graduating with 1st class honours. Florian made his debut with the Philharmonia Orchestra in 2014 and with the Collegium Musicum in Basel in 2015 and the George Enescu Philharmonic and Romanian Radio Chamber Orchestra in 2016.
