In October 2019, he won 3rd Prize at the Hong Kong International Piano Competition. In 2022, Andrzej won 3rd Prize at the American Ignacy Jan Paderewski International Piano Competition in Los Angeles standing out strongly for his personality and the Grand Prix at the Red Maple Music Competition in Toronto. He has honed his skills by participating in international masterclasses taught by distinguished pedagogues such as Michel Beroff, Dmitri Alexeev, Carlo Palese, Akiko Ebi, Lee Kum Sing, Anna Malikova, Katarzyna Popowa-Zydroń, Andrzej Jasiński, Dang Thai Son, Tomas Ungar, and Janusz Olejniczak. He participated in a month-long piano course at the Morningside Music Bridge in Calgary, where he received master classes from Andre Laplante and Krzysztof Jablonski, among others. He also received very valuable musical guidance from Daniil Trifonov during his masterclasses in Katowice.
Andrzej Wierciński is the recipient of several special scholarships – including the YAMAHA Foundation Artistic Scholarship, the Krystian Zimmerman Scholarship and the F. Wybrańczyk Artistic Scholarship of the Sinfonia Varsovia Foundation.
In recent years Andrzej has given recitals in most European countries, Canada, Indonesia and Japan. He has collaborated with KAWAI and Japan Arts, which has invited the artist to Asia on several tours. A significant event in his career was the performance of Ludwig van Beethoven’s Third Piano Concerto under Maestro Maciej Twork at the National Philharmonic Hall during the 24th Ludwig van Beethoven Easter Festival at the invitation of Mrs. Elżbieta Penderecka. In addition, the artist has collaborated with maestro Alexander Liebreich, Jacek Kasprzyk, Mirosław Błaszczyk and Marek Moś.
