Concerts
Overview
Instruments in the collection are used in concerts throughout the year.
Concerts are held in the original Music Room of the house, design by Sir Reginald Blomfield 1903.
During the mid-summer break in the concert programmer, August, the Music Room is displayed as a Composer Museum.
Concert programme for the 2025 will be announced shortly.

Paolo Zanzu – piano, Nicholas Scott – tenor

Nicholas Scott studied at the Royal Academy of Music, where he was awarded the Sir Elton John and ABRSM Scholarships. He was a member of the 7th Edition of Les Arts Florissants’ young artist programme and has performed in many international venues including Sydney Opera House, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, New York’s Lincoln Centre and with Glyndebourne Festival Opera.
Paolo Zanzu has performed in theatres and numerous festivals around the world, and made his debut as a soloist at the BBC Proms in London in 2014. Since 2008 Zanzu worked as continuo player with Les Arts Florissants, before becoming William Christie’s musical assistant. Last year Sir John Eliot Gardiner appointed him as his assistant for the world tour of Monteverdi’s complete operas.

Lunchtime recitals
Last approximately one hour.
Evening concerts
Last approximately two hours with one interval
during which juice and wine are served.
Notices
Wheelchair access available. Please advise in advance.
Please note that tickets cannot be exchanged nor money refunded.
Tickets to recitals and concerts do not include free admittance to the house.
We reserve the right to refuse admission and change the programme and/or instrument without notice.
It may not always be possible to admit latecomers to the Music Room.
Stiletto heels should not be worn.
