Marcia Hadjimarkos explores pieces by Bach and his son using the Hoffmann clavichord and a Zumpe square piano from 1769. While Bach looks back to the courtly dance suite, his son Carl Philipp Emanuel whirls off into explorations of the sonata and rondo.
