Eleanor Hodgkinson has performed as a soloist and chamber musician throughout Europe. She plays an Erard piano signed by Thalberg, one of the most celebrated virtuosi of the 19th century and a serious rival to Liszt. Czerny studied with Beethoven and taught Liszt.
