The very instruments chosen or played by Purcell, Johann Christian Bach, Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven, Chopin, Mahler and Elgar, to name a few, form the heart of The Cobbe Collection at Hatchlands.
Visiting Us
Hatchlands Park, a property of the National Trust, stands in a handsome, wooded park, landscaped by Humphry Repton, and is just 23 miles from London.
Art Collection
The collection of Old Masters has its origins in the 18th century, when members of the Cobbe family collected a large number of Italian and Dutch paintings. The collection continues to grow.

Concerts
Instruments in the collection are used in concerts during the summer and autumn. Concerts are held in the original Music Room of the house, designed by Sir Reginald Blomfield in 1903.
