Weber was the most famous harpsichord and organ builder in Ireland in the mid-18th century and the first to make pianos there. In the Cobbe family account books, he is recorded from 1756 as their supplier and tuner of instruments at Newbridge House, near Dublin. The property of a private Cobbe family trust.
